2nd Eurasian Summit "Women's Health" continues the East-European Summit of Obstetricians, Gynaecologists and Perinatologists held in May 2017. That meeting became an important large-scale event and was attended by over 600 specialists from 27 countries. The summit showed that physicians from different countries are keen to expand cooperation and experience exchange. The project will be continued in 2018 as the 2nd Eurasian Summit "Women's Health" and will bring together obstetrician-gynaecologists, perinatologists, endocrinologists and functional diagnostics specialists from all over the Eurasian continent.
The concept has been also changed. Issues of obstetrics-gynaecology and perinatal practice will be considered more widely and globally, as the women's health influences not only the quality of a woman's life, but also wellbeing of every family and the society in general.
The Summit is again supported by the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, and the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO). Other organizers are Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, National Medical Research Centre of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I.Kulakov and Russian Society of Obstetricians-Gynaecologists.
Russian experts in cooperation with their foreign colleagues from FIGO have developed an extensive scientific program covering issues that are most pressing for the global medical society.
Functional diagnostics specialists
Participants of breakout sessions and round tables will discuss achievements in the area of prenatal diagnostics, pregnancy complications and critical conditions, high risk labour and pregnancy, infertility treatment and modern capabilities of assisted reproductive technologies.The participants will also consider issues of gynecological endocrinology and oncology, urogynecological and infectious diseases, contraception and aesthetic gynecology issues, ultrasonic examination in obstetrics and gynecology.
Like last year, the program will be supplemented with training pre- and post-courses. This time their number will be increased, and their topics will be more diversified. The courses will be organized at famous Moscow clinics and will include lectures by the leading Russian and foreign speakers, master classes and examination of clinical cases using high-tech equipment, including robots.
An application for accreditation of the event in the Coordination Council for Development of Continuing Medical and Pharmaceutical Education of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) has been filed. This unique event will become an important step towards strengthening of the international cooperation and improvement of the obstetrics and gynaecological and perinatal aid all over the world.
