GREETINGS
Dear Colleagues and Friends,

I am pleased to invite you to the 2nd Eurasian Summit "Women's Health" that will be held on 29-30 May in Moscow. Last year we held the First East-European Summit of Obstetricians, Gynaecologists and Perinatologists that attracted great interest and attention of our colleagues. The summit showed we need each other. It is important for us to communicate, share information, tell about our achievements and jointly resolve the issues of reproductive and maternal health. We realized that to move on we need to expand the borders, so we will meet guests from all over the continent this year.

The current reality requires that physicians continuously improve their knowledge, master new technologies and advanced skills.
The summit includes an extensive educational program. We will supplement the main program with specialized courses, which will be held in advanced clinics of Moscow under supervision of experienced practicing specialists.

One of the Summit organizers is the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO). We jointly develop a scientific program, which includes the issues that are important not only for obstetricians and gynaecologists and perinatologists, but are also in the scope of public attention. These are: protection of women's health, safe childbirth and quality of life at any age.

Thus, in Russia, like in the majority of the Western countries, the demographic issue is most acute. According to the statistics for 2017, the natural population decrease is back, and the birth rate has dropped to the minimum level over 10 recent years. In this situation we need to concentrate on issues of the women's health, methods of treatment of infertility and complications during pregnancy and childbirth.

Oncogynecology remains another pressing issue to be discussed. Tumors of the female urogenital system seriously endanger life and reproduction, millions of women annually die from breast cancer. We will also discuss other burning problems daily faced by obstetricians and gynaecologists in their practice - perinatal diagnostics, pregnancy complications and critical conditions, high risk pregnancy, treatment of infertility and modern capabilities of assisted reproductive technologies. The participants will also review the issues of gynecological endocrinology and oncology, urogynecological and infectious diseases, contraception and aesthetic gynecology, visual diagnostics. I believe we must join our efforts to protect women's health and to help them live full life, become mothers, deliver healthy babies, remain active and attractive at any age.

Dear colleagues,

I am glad to invite you to Moscow to attend the Second Eurasian Summit "Women's Health", an international event for specialists in the area of obstetrics, gynaecology, perinatology and neonatology. The Summit has expanded, changed and its program has become more diversified over the past year. We expect a large number of speakers not only from Europe, but also from Asia, that is why the name of the summit has been changed. These changes evidence the increasing interest to the pressing issues of women's health on the part of the global physician society, and wide public.

Currently we can see rapid development of obstetrics, gynaecology, perinatology, and other areas of medicine related to protection of women's health. Specialists engaged in these areas need interdisciplinary interactions. Progress of medical technologies, creation of innovative approaches to treatment, provision of efficient healthcare are hardly possible without sharing experience, in particular on the international level. The Second Eurasian Summit "Women's Health" in many relations becomes an event setting trends in the industry.

It is great honour for the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University together with the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics to be among organizers of the Summit. We, just like our foreign colleagues, believe that continuous education of physicians is of great importance. That is why an application for the event accreditation to get scores from the Board of Continuous Medical Education and the European Union, has been filed.

The Second Eurasian Summit "Women's Health" is to become a bright, memorable event bringing together specialists to achieve the noble goal - to strengthen, maintain and develop the reproduction potential of the European and Asian countries.

There are hardly any issues more acute than the future of our planet, and the women's and babies' health is the most important of them. I believe our meetings will remain vital for a long time.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The International Summit on the Women's Health will be held in Moscow for the second time. The first event was widely covered and very successful. This is why the Summit has substantially expanded its geography, range of issues and, consequently, the name of the event has been also changed.

The 2nd Eurasian Summit "Women's Health" brings together obstetricians and gynecologists, perinatologists and other stakeholders from various European and Asian countries. It is the venue where experts from various areas meet to discuss both medical and social problems, wich women face in the modern world. The wellbeing of women depends on a large number of factors, and such approach seems most rational.

This year the list of the Summit organizers includes International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO), which has surely made this event even more significant.
We expect the Summit to be rich in open discussions that are an essential part of the live creative communication of persons obsessed by their profession. We have reserved time both for wide debates, and for specialized topics during sessions and round tables. The Summit delegates will surely appreciate the expanded rich program of pre-courses and post-courses on the basis of the best Moscow clinics using hi-tech equipment.

We strongly support the system of the physician continuous education, that is why we applied for accreditation not only at the Russia's Board of Continuous Medical Education, but also at the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.

I am sure this Summit in Moscow will become a bright memorable event for all its delegates. Meetings of specialists in the area of women's health of such a high level are unique. They efficiently promote development of healthcare aimed to protect mothers' and babies' health.

I will be glad to see you at the 2nd Eurasian Summit "Women's Health"!
